A tufted perennial herb with a woody rootstock, with long, thin green stems, small leaves and clusters of vibrant, lemon-yellow flowers, followed by attractive pink and yellow fruit. This lovely plant is widespread and adaptable, often seen on roadsides. The clumps can grow to 0.6m high and 0.5m wide in sand, sandy loam, loam, gravel, and clay loam and are great for large pots, in rockeries and open gardens with Lechenaultia and Kangaroo Paws. They flower from winter through to summer and autumn and are a good cut flower. Origin – South West, Perth Hills, Wheatbelt and Rangelands.
