Eucalyptus websteriana – Webster’s Mallee

A small, spreading mallee with pale green, heart-shaped leaves, attractive olive-green bark under reddish shedding ‘Minni-Ritchie’ bark and clusters of dark pink buds, creamy yellow flowers and rounded, woody fruit. This lovely multi-stemmed ornamental tree flowers in spring, adds character to the garden and provides dappled shade for smaller shrubs. Drought and frost hardy, it can be pruned to shape or even grown in large pots. It grows from 2 to 4m high in full sun in well-drained sandy loam, loam, gravelly loam, sandy clay, gravelly clay loam and clay loam. Origin – Southern Rangelands
