A small, open mallee or large shrub with smooth, white bark, unusual blue-green circular leaves crowded along stems, clusters of lemon-yellow flowers and blue-green nuts covered with white bloom. This highly ornamental mallee looks fabulous emerging over smaller shrubs. An excellent and popular species for cut foliage and flower arrangements, and will attract birds to the garden. It will grow from 2 to 3m high, spreading to 3m wide, and flowers in winter and spring. It is very hardy and adaptable to a variety of well-drained soils and will tolerate hard pruning, drought and frost. Origin – Goldfields granite outcrops and hills.
