Prostrate shrub with rounded, blue-green leaves with short white hairs and lovely lime-green tubular flowers with contrasting maroon anthers. A low maintenance, ground cover that flowers in autumn through to spring and grows to 0.3m high and 0.6 – 1.5m wide. It tolerates drought and coastal conditions, and grows in limestone sand, loam, gravelly loam, clay loam and clay. It looks lovely as a border, under trees and along driveways, and attracts nectar-feeding birds. It prefers light dappled shade but can grow in full sun. Origin – Victoria and Tasmania.
