A medium domed shrub with long serrated leaves and creamy-gold to red honeycup flowers. This hardy dense shrub grows from 0.4 to 1.2m high and up to 1.5m wide with masses of flowers tucked within the foliage, which attract honeyeaters and honey possums to feed on the nectar. It grows in full sun on lateritic soils including gravelly loam, sandy gravel, sandy loam, gravelly clay loam and harder setting clay loam. Origin – Wheatbelt laterite and sandplain.
