Adenanthos venosus

A large shrub with soft, broad pale green leaves and dark pink jug flowers, with conspicuous dark pink young foliage on the ends of long arching stems. It grows from 0.5 to 1.5m tall and wide in full sun, and flowers over a long period from late autumn to late summer, with new growth in spring and early summer. The new foliage stems are particularly attractive for cut flower arrangements. It grows in dry sand, sandy loam, sandy gravel, sandy clay and rocky ridges. Origin – South coast rocky hills and shrublands.
