A low to medium shrub with light green, long, flat and rounded leaves and pale yellow, loose flower heads on the ends of branchets. This shrub is often seen as a low shrub in the bush to 0.4m high, but can grow to 1.5m high. A hardy plant with flowers in spring and summer that attract birds and other pollinators. The individual flowers flop outwardly to create the soft, pixie mop appearance. It tolerates moderate drought and frost and can be tip pruned to maintain shape and promote new growth. It grows in full sun and part shade in sandy loam, loam, peaty sand, sandy gravel and gravelly loam. Origin – south west.
