A large, upright shrub with long and flat, dark green leaves and beautiful pincushions of candy-pink and white flowers. This very hardy shrub is an excellent feature plant, backdrop or screening plant that looks stunning in full flower, attracting many birds. It grows from 2 to 6m tall in full sun and adapts to a variety of soils including sandy loam, gravelly loam, clay loam and clay. It flowers in autumn and winter providing an early nectar supply for birds and fresh colour for the garden. Origin – south coast, southern mallee and sandplains.
