A large, open shrub with showy, round creamy-yellow flower heads and long, fine leaves. This lovely shrub flowers in summer and autumn with nectar for honeyeaters and insects to fill a feed gap. The large, attractive flower heads feature against the soft, fine leaves and rusty brown flower buds. Useful also as a windbreak, backdrop or lower screening plant in larger gardens. It is low maintenance and tolerates drought and light frost and grows from 1.5 – 2m tall by 2 – 3m wide in sandy loam, sandy gravel, gravelly loam, gravelly clay loam and sandy clay. Origin – Northern Wheatbelt
